Cadillac Ranch

Located right on I-40, there is no reason to miss this experience.  It's open 24 hours a day.

Buc-ee's

Buc-ee’s is a chain of travel centers known for clean bathrooms and many fueling positions.  There is a lot to see here so stop in.

Historic Route 66

Historic Route 66 and 6th Street for antique stores, and local shops.

Palo Duro Canyon State Park

The second largest canyon in the United States is about 20 minutes southeast.  Breathtaking views, 800 foot cliffs, with plenty of multi-use trails and the iconic "Lighthouse" makes this a place to visit if you have some time.

Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum

PPHM is the largest history museum in Texas, with more than two million artifacts.

Native flora are showcased over 4 acres of seasonal gardens, with an indoor tropical conservatory.

Buffalo Lake National Wildlife Refuge

Buffalo Lake National Wildlife Refuge has many wildlife-related activities, including wildlife watching, hiking, fishing and wildlife photography.

Alibates Flint Quarries

13,000 years ago, Alibates was used by mammoth hunters as a source of flint for tools. The colorful flint has never lost its value or usefulness in the Texas Panhandle.  Learn how important this site was to the survival, commerce, and culture of the people of the High Plains.
